We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a unique combination of technical acumen and exceptional commercial skills to join Aptah's team. This person will be in direct contact with our CEO and will be responsible for securing our fundraising strategy, and must be able to navigate the complexities of our industry, establish valuable connections, and succesfully represent our company before stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Identify, qualify, and open communications with possible investors and venture capital funds to fund our research and business growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, industry partners, and research institutions.
Translate technical product information into compelling value propositions for potential investors and partners.
Collaborate with our scientific team to ensure a cohesive business strategy and narrative.
Organize, document and keep track of the ongoing approaches, negotiations, and needed follow-ups.
Demonstrated ability to secure funding and partnerships in a highly technical space.
Experience in merger and acquisitions and/or venture capital.
Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend complex scientific and financial data.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to bridge the gap between technical science and commercial opportunities.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Additional desired skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) preferred.
Experience in business development or commercial roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
